Claire was born and raised on Vashon Island, WA. She currently lives in Washington, DC and is completing her MFA at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University this July.
She received her BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where she lived and worked as a professional actor for the last 9 years. Claire grew up as a dancer and has continued to utilize her movement background in her acting work.
Claire has worked with some of Canada's largest theatre companies including The Citadel Theatre and Bard on the Beach. She has toured across the country with Green Thumb Theatre and was an original cast member in Delinquent Theatre's highly successful STATIONARY: A Recession-Era Musical. She was one of 12 participants chosen nationwide in Canada to participate in the 2013 Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program. Claire is a two time Jessie Richardson Award Nominee for her performance in Tender Napalm and Speech & Debate.
Between contracts, Claire does pet portraiture.
